This Service Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets forth the handling of information about users (the "User Information") of "CountStamp" (the "Service") provided by us (the "Operator").
To provide count records, timestamped histories, Widget input, Lock Screen controls, and CSV export, the Service processes records, settings, and similar data on the device and in the App Group container. Count data is not transmitted to servers operated by the Operator, and external collection or third-party provision by the Operator is not performed. The App also does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
In providing the Service, the Operator does not ask users to provide personal information such as names, email addresses, location information, or advertising identifiers. The App processes count records, histories, settings, selected count data, Pro entitlement state, and related data on the device and in the App Group container as necessary to provide its features.
The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, IDFA (the advertising identifier), or tracking under App Tracking Transparency. Purchases, purchase restoration, subscription status, and transaction information are processed by Apple's StoreKit, and the App reads StoreKit entitlement status for Settings, purchase restoration, and Pro feature boundaries.
If a user exports CSV files, uses OS sharing features, sends email, or otherwise transmits data to an external service, such transmission occurs at the user's direction. The handling of information associated with payment, distribution, and diagnostic functions provided by app stores and other platforms is governed by the policies of those respective providers.
The Operator uses User Information only as necessary to provide the Service, integrate with Widgets and Lock Screen controls, export CSV files, verify subscription entitlement, restore purchases, operate and maintain the Service, and respond to inquiries. Data such as count records and settings entered in the App is stored on the device and in the App Group container.
Should online features such as backup or synchronization be introduced in the future, this Policy will be updated in advance, and user consent will be obtained as necessary.
The Operator does not provide personal information to third parties except as required by law. Purchases, purchase restoration, subscription status, and refunds are processed by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Data may be transmitted to the selected service only when the user explicitly uses sharing features (see "Transmission Outside the Device").
In this version, the App does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. IDFA is not used, and the App does not engage in cross-app tracking.
In this version, the Service does not transmit count data such as count names, histories, limits, CSV files, or Widget selections to servers operated by the Operator. Data may be transmitted to the selected service only when the user explicitly exports CSV files, uses sharing features, sends email, or otherwise initiates transmission.
The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
Subscription payments are processed by Apple's App Store, and financial information such as payment methods is not provided to the Operator.
Additionally, if users enable OS backup or diagnostic features (e.g., iCloud backup, device diagnostics, crash log sharing), data on the device or diagnostic information may be transmitted to those providers. These are OS features based on user settings, and the Operator does not collect or retain such data. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for details.
Data for the Service is stored on the device and in the App Group container and protected by OS sandboxing and similar mechanisms. Users should implement basic security measures such as device screen locks.
